E-mobility International Workshop 2026: challenges and opportunities

12 October 2026

ENSAM, 8 bd Louis XIV, 59000, Lille, Amphithéâtre « Tresca »

General chairs

Prof. Alain Bouscayrol (L2EP, CUMIN, Univ. Lille, chair of IEEE-VPPC steering committee)

Prof. Ta Cao Minh (Univ. Sherbrooke, Canada, chair of VPP Technical Committee of IEEE-VTS)

E-mobility context

Electromobility is key lever for energy transition within the context of global warming. Various technologies and vehicles are developing to contribute to this challenge. Numerous engineers will be needed to work on the electromobility transition. Opportunities and challenges of different countries on e-mobility will be presented in this workshop, as well as new technologies that will progressively be integrated in future transportation systems. This workshop is jointly organized by IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (VTS) and the CUMIN programme.
