MOUVE

MObility and Use of electric VEhicles based on dedicated charging infrastructure

The MOUVE project (2017‐2018) focuses on the emergence of the electric vehicules’ charge stations accross territories, in a sustainable development approach. The project aims at understanding the way the charge stations are used by drivers. Acting on this idea, the project aims at locating the local charge stations’ network thank to the creation of a data base which will make it possible to compare spatial data with economic and social datas. The main purpose is to analyse how the charge stations are used in each kind of space (public/privates spaces), which should reveals similarities or differences. The interviews of local electromobility actors will allow the project partners to compare the gap there may be between the official mobility strategy and the datas gathered before, during the field analysis. In order to give an international dimension to the MOUVE project, a mission should take place in Norway where the charge stations have been installed since the 1990’s. This norwegian investigation aims at bringing new ideas in France. To fully understand the multiple aspects of eletromobility (territorial, political, technological aspects...) the partnership of MOUVE has to be multidisciplinary : geographers, urban planners and scientists are part of the team.
